An ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is a unique 13-digit identifier assigned to each edition of a book. It enables tracking by libraries, retailers, and distributors. ISBNs consist of five elements – prefix, group, publisher, title, and check digit and are usually printed on the back cover. Each edition or variation of a publication carries a different ISBN. Privately published books may sometimes appear without an ISBN, though the International ISBN Agency may assign one at its discretion.

Please note: the front cover of a book may differ from the image displayed on our website, particularly with publications such as TOPModel.

If you are not satisfied with a product, you may return it in sellable condition within a reasonable time, provided we are notified by email upon receipt (info@thebookbox.co.za)

• Costs for wrongly dispatched or delivered books will be borne by us.
• Costs for other returns will be for your own account.

Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received, provided that banking details were included in your email notification.

Stock shortages may occur from time to time. Temporary shortages may delay delivery, but we will notify you promptly in such cases. We endeavour not to display products that are out of stock. If a product is unavailable, you will be notified and any payment received will be refunded immediately.

Products such as TOPModel may vary in appearance from the images shown on the website.

If you choose to use your own courier, you will be responsible for arranging insurance should you wish to insure the parcel.
